Definitions
fruitarian: eats fruit, nuts and seeds that fall naturally
from a tree or plant.
lacto-ovo-vegetarian: consumes the milk and eggs of animals
and products made from milk and eggs.
lacto-vegetarian: drinks the milk of animals and eats products
made from milk.
ovo-vegetarian: eats the eggs of animals.
raw or live foodist: eats fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds
and nuts that are not cooked and may be
sprouted, fermented or dehydrated.
vegan: (pronounced vee-gun) eats vegetables, grains, fruits,
nuts and seeds; ethical vegans do not wear
clothes
made from animals, including wool, leather, fur and silk.
vegetarian: an all-encompassing term used to represent
all of the above definitions.
