Oatmeal Squares

1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/8 cup safflower oil
1½ cup chopped walnuts
1½ cup finely chopped or ground raisins or dates
½ cup apple juice

Blend flour, oats and oil with fingers until evenly mixed. Add nuts, raisins or dates and apple juice and mix well with fingers. Press down mixture in greased 8x8 inch pan and cut into squares with a spatula before baking. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
