Desserts Crust 2 cups soaked
almonds (soak for at least 8 hours, then drain) Mix all ingredients for the crust together in a food processor using the “S” blade. Press into pie pan. Makes enough for 1½-2 pie crusts. Filling 1½ pints
fresh strawberries Cut one banana, 3 kiwis, ½ pint strawberries, and ¼ pineapple into thin slices and place on the crust, layering fruit slices in a fanned spiral until entire bottom of pie crust is covered. Combine 1 pint of strawberries and 1 banana in a food processor using the “S” blade and puree. Gently spread the strawberry-banana puree over the fruit slices. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. |
