Desserts 1 cup whole wheat baking flour ¾
tsp non-aluminum baking soda Sift together flour, spices and baking soda. Stir in dates and walnuts. In a separate bowl, mix together oil, maple syrup, vanilla flavor and apple juice. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well. If the mixture is too stiff, add in 1 teaspoon of apple juice at a time. Pour mixture into oiled loaf pan (7½ x 3½ inches or two mini loaf pans). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. (Bread does not rise very high.) |
